Huawei Thailand has brought in Pomme Chan, a Thai illustrator and founder of Happy People Studio who has worked with brands such as Cartier and Glenmorangie, to design Movement of Life for the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series, on sale from October 2, 2026. The idea is to treat the smartwatch as an accessory that says who you are. She took the moods and rhythms of daily life and turned them into line work on the straps, each with a matching watch face. There are six designs, split by case size.

46 mm: run, walk, play
For the GT 7 Pro and the 46 mm GT 7 there are three. RUN (Run to the Goal) has green-and-blue lines with forward energy. WALK (Walk Together) is white and grey, the quietest of the set. PLAY (Play Hard, Work Hard) is bright blue with flower graphics. For everyday office wear, WALK goes with anything from a linen suit to a tee and slacks. PLAY is for days when you want the wrist to be the focus of the outfit.
41 mm: dream, step, dance
The 41 mm GT 7 gets three more. DREAM (Dream of Thoughts) is black with deep blue. STEP (Step by Step) has blue-green curves on white. DANCE (Dance in Rhythm) is a white strap with flowing rainbow lines. This side is more playful. DREAM is the pick for people who dress dark, and DANCE is the one strap here that adds colour to an all-white look.
Where to buy
The straps are sold at all HUAWEI Experience Stores and participating dealers, and the watch faces in the HUAWEI Health app. The press release doesn't give a strap price. If you don't own the watch yet, launch pricing was THB 9,990 for the GT 7 Pro (normally THB 11,990) in green, yellow or black, and from THB 6,990 for the GT 7 in 46 mm (blue, yellow, black) or 41 mm (blue, pink, white) (normally THB 7,990). The pre-order gifts ended on October 1.
Who it suits
People who wear a smartwatch every day but are tired of black silicone, and anyone who wants a Thai artist's work on them without buying an artwork.
In our opinion, matching the strap to the watch face is something smartwatches should have been doing for years. Change two things and it looks like a new watch. But we need the strap price before we can say whether it's worth it.
