Apple confirmed in its October 13, 2026 press release announcing Apple HomeView that Apple Home Collection — a lineup of smart home accessories (camera, thermostat, door lock) made together with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric — is genuinely coming, compatible with HomeView and shipping from December 2026 into early 2027. This is news straight from Apple, not a rumor. What Apple didn't share in that release is any product name, spec, price, or real image. Everything below on those specifics comes from pre-event leak reporting, still awaiting Apple's own official details.

What's still awaiting confirmation: leaks point to an LG-branded lineup, not Apple-branded
Ahead of the event, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported that these accessories would ship under LG's own brand, not Apple's, naming a seven-device lineup: an LG Video Doorbell, a Smart Deadbolt Lock, a Smart Thermostat, a Temperature/Humidity Sensor, an Indoor Cam, an Outdoor Cam, and a Floodlight Cam — with LG handling manufacturing and support while Apple co-develops behind the scenes. The phrase "Apple Home Collection" itself is Gurman's own label for the lineup as a whole; there's no confirmation it's Apple's official name for it. The clearest evidence of LG branding so far is a leaked setup screen that names the product outright: "LG Video Doorbell Wired."

Leaked specs (unconfirmed)
Leaked images and spec details suggest the thermostat has a rounded-square design with a large central display showing the temperature clearly.

The lock supports auto-unlock, tap-to-unlock, an emergency power option, master codes, and ships with two mechanical keys, in at least two finishes (silver and graphite), fitting two standard door-prep sizes.

The camera/doorbell has leaked in a matching pair of finishes (also silver and graphite), with a cylindrical shape that matches the lock's design language — but no clear camera specs, resolution, or field of view have leaked yet.

Where does Schneider Electric fit in?
Based on a leaked partner table, Schneider Electric's role looks thinner than earlier assumed — roughly 10 products across the collection are reportedly split between LG and Schneider, with Schneider's share limited to two thermostat variants and a temperature/humidity sensor. No source confirms Schneider is behind any camera, lock, or doorbell in the lineup.

Connecting to HomeView and the Home app
Leaked images also show these accessories tying directly into Apple Home — controllable from the Home app on iPhone (adjusting temperature, lights, blinds, checking lock status) and showing up on an Apple HomeView display, matching Apple's own statement that the collection "works with HomeView."

On pricing: no real numbers exist anywhere
To be explicit: no outlet has reported a price for any product in this collection. The $350 figure that circulated before the event was a pre-announcement estimate for Apple HomeView, the smart display — a completely separate product, which Apple ultimately priced at $299 (see our HomeView coverage) — not for any camera, thermostat, or lock in this collection.
On timing, multiple outlets agree these accessories won't be available immediately, expecting at least a few months after the October 13 event, with some reports pointing to early 2027 — roughly matching the December 2026-to-early-2027 window Apple itself gave in its official release. No outlet has mentioned Thailand availability or pricing at all. Both Apple and LG declined to comment on the leaked reports.
Bottom line: all that's confirmed right now is that this collection is real and coming. Every product name, spec, and price is still pre-event leak material awaiting Apple's own confirmation. We'll update this piece as soon as there's an official announcement.
