Burgundy, the deep purplish red, is still everywhere in fashion and gadgets, so Baseus has put it on the Inspire XC1, its open-ear earbuds that hook over the ear without blocking the canal. The colour is called Dark Cherry, a deep wine-toned red, and it sells in Thailand for 3,990 baht, the same as the metallic Galaxy Natural Titanium sold alongside it.
Sound specs
Baseus's product page lists a two-way system pairing a 10.8 mm dynamic driver with a balanced armature, plus Hi-Res Audio, LDAC (Android only, switched on in the Baseus app) and Dolby Spatial Audio over Bluetooth 6.1. There's no active noise cancelling, which is normal for open-ear designs meant to keep you aware of your surroundings.
Battery and everyday use
Expect about 8 hours per charge and up to 40 hours with the case. Baseus Thailand says a 10-minute charge gives about 2 hours. The earbuds are IP66 (the case is not water-resistant), so workout sweat or light rain is fine.
Match the whole set
Baseus also has a FrostCore USB-C to USB-C 100W braided cable, 1.2 m long, in Dark Cherry for 399 baht, for anyone who wants their earbuds and desk cable in the same colour.
Both are on sale now at Baseus Official on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok, and in stores including Banana, AIS, True, King Power, Siam Discovery, 425 Degree, Zoundaholic, GadgetMax, Jaben and Amcon.
In our view, the news here is the colour: the specs match the other XC1 colours, so there's no reason to swap if you already own one. If you're shopping for open-ear earbuds with LDAC around 4,000 baht and are tired of black and white, this one belongs on the list.
