vivo has confirmed the vivo V80 will launch officially in Thailand within October 2026, after passing NBTC certification. It follows the V70, which was sold on its portrait photos, and vivo says new colours are coming too.

What vivo Thailand has confirmed

The headline is still ZEISS-backed portrait photography, and the V80 will be the first vivo phone to ship with OriginOS 7 on Android 17, vivo's own software with new AI features for the camera and everyday use. vivo Thailand is holding other details for launch day.

Specs from the version already launched

The V80 launched in India on 6 October, which Android Headlines describes as the global version. Reported specs: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, a 144Hz AMOLED display, a 7,200 mAh battery with 90W charging, IP68 and IP69, and ZEISS rear cameras (50MP main, 50MP 3x telephoto, 8MP ultrawide) plus a 50MP selfie camera.

The Thai version may not match the Indian one on every point. Wait for vivo Thailand's announcement.

Price

There is no Thai price yet. The V80 Lite, already on sale in Thailand (launched 18 Sept from 13,999 baht), is a different model, so don't compare the two prices.

In our view, this announcement is thin on Thai-specific specs. The interesting parts are the 7,200 mAh battery and 3x zoom of the global model. If the Thai version gets both and isn't priced far above the V70, it should be a good pick for people who shoot portraits.
