River prawns fried in fish-sauce sauce, rich with prawn fat just right; a chamsaram-leaf salad with minced pork and boiled egg, bold in flavor; cha-om leaf stir-fried with egg and long-lasting crispy prawn skewers; sour tamarind soup with grouper; squid stuffed with minced pork in an Italian basil sauce; and sun-dried beef tongue fried and served with jaew dip, the most tender and bouncy we've ever had.
Hor mok made from feather-back fish with crab meat and chamsaram leaf; an unusual, non-fishy seabass ice cream with palm sugar caramel; three-color bua loy with sweet egg; cowslip creeper flower stir-fried with glass noodles and Thai fermented pork; large, bouncy shrimp balls; yellow curry with fresh chili and seabass; fried Chinese chives cakes; and small prawns fried with salt and pepper.
