A cafe recommendation in Sakon Nakhon: CHANN Cafe, a fairly newly opened spot. Outside it looks like a traditional Thai house, but inside it's a fully modern cafe. The drinks and cakes are genuinely good, priced about the same as a Bangkok cafe but not overpriced. We'd recommend the Chann Foam Dirty, and the carrot cake is delicious too — everything else is solid as well. The place is huge, with plenty of seating zones to choose from and convenient parking. Open daily 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.
