A new bar has opened at Valia Bangkok Hotel, Sukhumvit 24, called Eastern Elixir Social Lounge & Bar. Starting with the drinks — the premium touch is that none of them use syrup, relying instead on natural fruit-juice sweetness, and sparkling mineral water instead of soda.
Every glass comes with a gimmick: a drop of their own in-house Essential Elixir, with a scent you choose yourself. Order a drink and you can ask for free tonic or fruit-juice top-ups. Signature cocktails cover every style, including a fragrant, delicious coffee-based mix.
The premium food menu includes Oscietra caviar from the Caspian Sea and Black Sea, served with brioche bread, or a Mediterranean Mezze combining hummus, mutabal, baba ganoush, and stuffed grape leaves on one plate, styled in an oriental presentation.
