One of our favorite chicken rice shops — Khao Mun Kai Hainan on Soi Ratchawinit Bang Kaew. The rice is fragrant with beautifully separated grains, served with a large bowl of soup and a fully loaded dipping sauce. The chicken comes cut in thick, generous pieces. We ordered two types of chopped chicken for 120 baht, plus rice for 15 baht. If you want the single-plate option, that's priced at 45-55 baht.
