Kookinju is a very affordable grilled beef and pork buffet, 349 baht a head, with a generous, decent selection of meat to grill — beef tongue, betago pork, various marinated pork, all delicious at this price. There are several dipping sauces, plus Himalayan salt and pepper — we loved the grilled beef dipped in salt and pepper the most. Sides include kimchi and a wide variety of vegetable salads.
The price includes unlimited soft drinks and Phai Thong ice cream, highly recommended. The owner also brought out some beautifully marbled F1 beef for us to try.
