Ramenga Gold's PTT Bang Phli branch made us seriously envious of the people who live nearby, because the ramen here is genuinely excellent. Starting with the noodles: there are two options — the ramen-style noodle (thin, chewy-soft) and the Japanese-style noodle (thick, with real bite, the original texture).

The Premium Truffle Ramen is fragrant with truffle in a rich pork-bone broth, eaten with fragrant grilled pork belly, and the soy-marinated egg is well made too. The tsukemen comes with noodles served separately alongside an intensely flavored fish broth — we'd recommend the Japanese-style noodle here, it pairs perfectly. The kakuni rice bowl has fragrantly braised pork belly that goes well with soy-marinated egg, and the curry rice with chashu pork and karaage chicken is well-seasoned.

The gyoza comes both pan-fried and deep-fried — we preferred the pan-fried version, slightly charred with a very springy filling. The arabiki sausage is grilled fragrant, and the takoyaki has a dense squid filling topped with fragrant dried-fish flakes. For dessert, we'd recommend the rich custard pudding, the matcha pudding fragrant with green tea, and the clear jelly with kuromitsu syrup. This chain already has 13 branches, with good prices and generous portions.
