Ramenga ラーメン is an affordable, genuinely tasty ramen shop with an atmosphere like a real Japanese ramen shop. At the Paradise Place branch, free parking all day. The tonkotsu ramen has a pork-bone broth, noodles with just the right bounce, served with chashu pork, pickled bamboo shoots, and shoyu egg — regular size 99 baht, jumbo 169 baht.
The Premium Truffle Ramen has a pork-bone broth paired with grilled pork belly chashu and truffle paste, a perfectly balanced dish (239 baht). There's also Tsukemen, a new item — ramen dipped in a rich dried-fish broth; takoyaki packed with squid filling; and cold ramen for just 79 baht.
There's a range of rice-bowl dishes and 4 ice cream flavors, like the intensely rich Kyoto Matcha, Premium Umeshu, and Premium Yuzu. Drinks include a fizzy chrysanthemum soda, really stylish. There are now 11 branches across Bangkok, all equally delicious.
