iQOO has launched the Pad Pro 8.8 in China alongside the iQOO Neo12, a new gaming tablet built around a 165Hz AMOLED display and a sizeable 9,020mAh battery in a body just 5.74mm thick and 298g. It sits one tier below the Pad Ultra — same screen and battery, lower price.
The 8.8-inch AMOLED panel runs at 2304x1440 with up to 165Hz refresh in supported games and peak local brightness of 4,500 nits. Inside is a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 paired with iQOO's own Q3 gaming chip for ray tracing, upscaling, and frame interpolation, with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The Ice Dome cooling system uses a 30x30x3.5mm fan, a dual-layer vapor chamber, and copper fins across 23,253mm² of surface area. It also has symmetrical dual speakers, two X-axis haptic motors, a rear RGB light strip, Wi-Fi 7, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port. The 9,020mAh battery supports 66W wired charging.
Compared to the pricier Pad Ultra, the Pro shares the same display, battery, thickness, and weight — the real difference is the chip (the Ultra runs a newer Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 with iQOO's Q4 chip) and the starting RAM/storage tier (12GB on the Ultra vs. 8GB on the Pro).
China pricing starts at 4,299 yuan for 8GB/256GB, up to 5,799 yuan for 16GB/512GB, in blue and gray. It's China-only for now, with no international release date announced — so anyone hoping to see it in Thailand will have to wait for news. (Source: TechHaus)
