Thai pricing in one paragraph

Droidsans reports these Thai prices: Tab S12+ Wi-Fi (12/256GB) 41,900 baht, Tab S12+ 5G (12/256GB) 46,900 baht, Tab S12 Ultra 5G (12/256GB) 53,900 baht. Every model ships with the S Pen. Keyboards cost extra. Samsung Thailand's site lists trade-in and e-Voucher offers from 10 October to 8 November 2026. Check the terms on the page before you buy.

Specs worth knowing

At 5.1mm the Ultra is, according to Samsung, the thinnest Galaxy Tab it has made, with a 14.6-inch display. The S12+ gets a 12.6-inch display with slimmer bezels than before. Both use Dynamic AMOLED 2X at 120Hz with up to 1,600 nits peak. The 3nm chip is the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, per Droidsans and Android Central. Samsung claims 61% faster NPU, 19% faster CPU and 17% faster GPU than the Tab S11 Ultra. There's a 3D Vapor Chamber for cooling, IP68 water and dust resistance and four-channel speakers. Batteries are 11,600mAh (Ultra) and 10,600mAh (S12+), rated by Samsung at up to 23 and 21 hours, with 0–100% in about 95 minutes on a 45W adapter. Both have 12GB RAM and take microSD cards up to 2TB. The Ultra adds Wi-Fi 7 and an ultra-wide camera.

What the S Pen and AI actually do

The tablets run Android 17 with One UI 9 and can split the screen into three windows. You could play a lecture on one side, write notes in Samsung Notes with the S Pen on the other, and let Note Assist summarise them. You get a six-month Google AI Pro trial for Gemini, and Gemini Notebook pulls notes, files and recordings into one place. Samsung Browser can summarise across several open tabs. For laptop-style work, the Pro Keyboard (sold separately) adds a dedicated Galaxy AI key.

The app bundle is generous. Adobe Photoshop comes preinstalled, which Samsung says is a first for Android tablets, with four months of the mobile plan free. There's also six months of Notability, a year of Goodnotes, a six-month Clip Studio Paint trial and 66% off LumaFusion. Samsung promises up to seven OS upgrades and security updates.

Our take

Our take, based on the specs and price rather than hands-on use: the S12+ Wi-Fi at 41,900 baht is the sensible pick for most people. The screen is big enough, the S Pen is in the box and the free note-taking apps run for months, which suits students and anyone who takes a lot of notes. The Ultra at 53,900 baht makes sense if you need 14.6 inches for serious editing or drawing and want built-in cellular. Add the keyboard to the budget if you need one.
