Tried Krua Tuean in Pattaya today. The dish to go for: the crab meat omelette, packed with generous, fresh crab. You can choose your own holy basil fried rice — we went with minced pork and fried egg, and squid with fried egg, both tasting like something mom would make. The garlic pork over rice was excellent and fragrant. The crispy pork with fresh chili was a bit soggy this time, so the pork wasn't crispy. If you go during peak hours, expect a longer wait since they cook per table without batching orders together. All told, this came to 640 baht for 4 people.
