Mungkorn Seafood, Ratburana branch, is another grilled seafood buffet with incredible value for money — they put live river prawns, still swimming, right into the buffet line. You can't get fresher than that, and there's an ice-water tank to stun the prawns before you scoop them out.

The grilled buffet has no time limit, priced at 499 baht (558 net including drink refills). Add a steamer/boiling pot for 99 baht each, or have them cook ingredients for you — fried in fish sauce, or steamed with lime, for an extra 50 baht. Nearly every kind of seafood is available: prawns, crab, shellfish, squid, fish, horseshoe crab, mantis shrimp, and lobster (extra charge).

The Ratburana branch, Soi Suksawat 27, doesn't take reservations — you need to walk in and grab a queue ticket. We'd recommend going on a weekday or before peak mealtimes. Open 2-10 PM (last order 9 PM).
