Insta360 and Leica have teamed up on the Luna Pro, a new pocket gimbal camera built around a Leica-engineered Summicron lens. It's already on sale in Thailand today at every Insta360 Brand Shop, plus retail partners Big Camera, ZoomCamera, EC Mall, IT City, BaNANA, .life, and Power Buy, as well as Shopee and the Insta360 Thailand TikTok store.
The headline spec is a 1-inch sensor paired with that Leica Summicron lens, shooting up to 8K with Dolby Vision and 10-bit I-Log, plus ACES workflow support. Insta360's standout feature is native 4K 30fps vertical video — shot straight up-and-down via 6K oversampling, without cropping from a horizontal frame — with a touchscreen that physically rotates to match your shooting orientation.

Slow motion goes up to 4K at 120fps and 1080p at 240fps. Deep Track handles subject tracking and Rapid Focus keeps things sharp, with lossless zoom up to 2x or AI-assisted zoom up to 4x. It has 3-axis stabilization, a detachable 2-inch OLED touchscreen, roughly 4 hours of battery life, 47GB of built-in storage, and 3 Leica color profiles (Natural, Vivid, Chrome).
On the camera side, it offers 14 stops of dynamic range, still photos up to 37MP, and a 360° panorama mode. The remote control range reaches up to 20 meters, handy for setting the camera down and stepping back to film yourself solo.
Compared to the pricier Luna Ultra, which uses a dual-lens setup with an added 3x optical telephoto, the Luna Pro shares the same main sensor and lens but drops the secondary lens for a more accessible price. Its closest rival, DJI's Osmo Pocket 4P, also goes dual-lens (adding a 60mm medium-telephoto) and claims a wider 17 stops of dynamic range — but Luna Pro's case rests on Leica's color science and ACES workflow support, which matters more to serious video editors.
Thailand pricing splits into 3 bundles: the Standard Bundle at 17,599 THB, the Fill Light Bundle at 19,599 THB, and the Creator Bundle at 21,599 THB — aimed at vloggers and creators who want a pocket-sized camera that shoots at a genuinely professional level.
