Ah Lam's clay-pot-baked chicken, a Chana District specialty in Songkhla Province. On the route from Hat Yai toward Pattani and Yala, pin this shop and don't miss it — the clay-pot-baked chicken is genuinely delicious, eaten with sticky rice and their excellent dipping sauce. Don't skip it.
The clay-pot-baked chicken is 160 baht a bird (you can buy half a bird too). The day we stopped by, cars kept pulling up to buy — mostly people taking it home. If you want to eat there, there are tables to sit at too.
