Tomorrowland Thailand officially unveiled its first food lineup on 8 October 2026, and we actually attended the media preview for it in person. It was held at the Belgian Consulate in Bangkok, whose grounds include a garden and pool, in the evening as the light faded. There was a Tomorrowland Thailand x Amazing Thailand step-and-repeat backdrop for photos, plus a large gold 3D Tomorrowland logo sculpture by the pool for sit-down shots. Before the tasting started, a host gave an opening speech, and a performer in a full Consciencia-themed costume — red, gold and purple velvet robes, braided hair with shell ornaments, face paint — posed for photos around the pool. Overall it read as a small preview ahead of the real festival in December, not the full-scale event.

The dish we kept seeing across several booths was a deep reddish-brown braised dish, massaman-style, portioned from a large catering tray into small bowls over rice, topped with crispy shallots and a pickle garnish. It was served both as single portions and as four portions on a round tray; one shot showed a knife slicing through a piece of meat with a thick spice crust before it was sauced.

On the smaller bites, the look was elegant across the board. Nara Thai Cuisine presented shrimp in folded paper boats, topped with a blue butterfly-pea flower and crispy shallots, on a banana-leaf tray decorated with orchids (a Pomelo Salad, ยำส้มโอ, sign was also up at the booth). Le Du (Le Du Kaan)'s team of three, in white chef coats, presented cone-shaped bites on dark rice and on rice grains. Blue Elephant Bangkok leaned into a Thai-Belgian fusion angle, serving croquettes in small wooden boats under a sign reading "Thai-Belgian Croquette Cheese." We watched Blue Elephant's own chef taste her croquette with a notably focused expression. The canapés we tried were all genuinely tasty — this felt like Thai flavor being brought to the world without watering it down for a foreign palate.

The signature dessert was the butterfly-shaped Tomorrowland Waffle, sold from a teal-and-floral branded cart set up poolside at dusk, each one dusted white with powdered sugar and embossed with text along the lines of "WE ARE TOMORROW." A separate Absolut Vodka cart had bartenders in vests preparing cocktails from Tomorrowland-branded Absolut bottles.
